Abstract
Four settings of Giuseppe Ungaretti for baritone voice and piano, duration 16 minutes. This work was commissioned by Jeremy Huw Williams with the assistance of the Britten-Pears Foundation. It was first performed on 11 January 2011 by Jeremy Huw Williams (baritone) and Nigel Foster (piano) at St David's Hall, Cardiff.
