Abstract
Presents two late-18th-century MS sources at the Royal College of Music library: the MS of Mozart's piano concerto, no. 24, K.491 (GB-Lcm MS 402), which was donated to the library by George Hunter Donaldson in 1878; and the treatise The clarinet instructor (GB-Lcm MS G94), dated ca. 1772. The significance of the MS sources for performance practice is addressed.
